The Modern Crochet Workshop given by Ruth Buchanan was a great success. After looking at a presentation on different forms of crochet and how they've been modernised we began 2 different items.

1. Crochet Money Purse

This was adapted from Pureloisirs. A zip can be added to complete the purse.

2. Blooming Flower Cushion

This was adapted from Lucy / Attic24 .

Here we have a complete front and back of a cushion, and a work in progress.

Apparently also crochet hooks have been modernised.
